    Woot has a Memorex Blu-Ray player for only $139 (plus $5 S&H). Pretty impressive, but not altogether unexpected.

    But again is it a 2.0 player? Also is this a standalone or a bd rom? Bd roms have been relatively inexpensive for over a year now - its the burners and blanks that are still pricey.

    I will say though any progress in the downward direction is good news
