Blu-ray chapters

How can I extract the chapters information from the m2ts file so when muxing my rip I can have the correct chapters

Download tsMuxeR.
Find the m2ts that hold main movie - could be 00001.m2ts - and find the according playlist - would be 00001.mpls.
Add only the playlist in tsMuxeR and the according m2ts will be imported.
Go to the Blu-ray tab at top of tsMuxeR and select "Custom chapters list".
Mux whatever you need and you have the original chapters.

I need to extract them (in a oppropiate format) for use in megui when muxing my re-encoded video, is there any way of doing this? Without manually creating the chapters file

Had the same problem. Created this little Java app to "translate" the tsMuxeR's output to MeGUI chapter format.
(worked ok for me when muxing a mp4 file)
