Samsung DVD 1080P8 Region 1 Help

Hi,

I have just brought a Samsung DVD 1080P8 in Canada (Region 1) and I have been trying to make it region free as I have just moved here from the UK and still have many region 2 DVD's. I have tried various methods found on the internet but none have worked so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can always ask as you might get lucky and someone will provide an unlock code, but ...
1) All players can't be unlocked.
2) Hardware changes during the manufacturing run sometimes break hacks that used to work.
3) More and more DVD players sold in North America can't be unlocked at all leading me to conclude that Hollywood has gotten to the manufacturers and convinced them to crack down on this.

I just picked up this DVD player and need to make it region free. I tried all the methods listed on this site along with others, but none of them have worked.

Read my previous post, particularly points 2 and 3.

Based on other posts we've received, it appears that Samsung is no longer selling DVD players that can be hacked.
