Unlock Region Memorex DVD Model: MVD2040-FLR...How???

Does anyone know how to unlock this DVD, I purchased it in USA and it is region 1, I want this to be "0" Region free or either "4" Region Four. (Latinamerica)

All my DVD's are region 4...PLEASE HELP!!!!

Not all players can be made region free.

It's becoming more difficult every day to unlock DVD players sold in the USA and Canada. I would NOT advise anyone outside of region 1 to buy such a player, with the exception of Oppo players which still can be made region free.
A few years ago it was almost impossible to buy a Philips DVD player in the USA or Canada that could not be made region free and now we're getting a lot of posts from people saying that they can't unlock their Philips players. It seems that Hollywood was able to convince the manufacturers to stop letting people unlock region 1 players.
