Reading the specs for Vegas I see it imports AVCHD and exports to DVD.

I assume Vegas Pro will be able to convert the edited AVCHD footage to an image and burn it to a standard DVD-R playable on standard home dvd players, right?

    Thanks

Vegas pro does not output to DVD directly. It outputs DVD ready streams for authoring in DVD Architect or any other authoring tool.

Ok, the question really was if it would be possible to create a standard DVD for a home player from AVCHD footage using the sw package Vegas pro. The DVD architect is part of the pro package so I do not need to worry.

    Thanks,
