    Hi,

Im trying to get video from a DVD into Adobe Premiere Pro so I can edit it. Ive converted the DVD to vob using DVDFab and have tried converting it into AVI format using Avidemux. However, I cannot get Premiere to import it properly. It imports the video fine but the audio is never imported even though it is present when I play the avi in VLC media player and WMP.

Is there anyway to get this working? Perhaps a codec or plug-in to download?

    Thanks in advance.

What audio codec are you using in avidemux?

You could try save it as a separate wav and use in premiere together with the avi video. In avidemux, Audio codec to PCM and Audio->Save...

Check to ensure the wav file's sampling rate is 48000Hz with 16-bit, 2-channel stereo. I don't know which version of Premiere you have, but it may not like the makeup of the audio file.
