    I am working on a dsp(dm6437, arm processor). I am trying to stream video from the dsp (LIVE555 streaming server). The streaming server is working fine. Now, i have PGM files which needed to be encoded into mpeg (to stream). I tried to cross compile the ffmpeg, but it is taking like 16 hours (still compiling..), i dont know whats the problem. Now, i need any alternative encoder for pgm to mpeg encoder. Do you have any idea ?

    A lot of talented folks read news://comp.arch.embedded ; ask there for suggestions
    and pointers to mpeg encoder sources.
