    Hello,

    I'm wondering if anybody else that has run into this problem knows the solution to it? My LG LDA 511 DVD player has started to turn itself off after running for an hour or so...as in it just turns off! We've had it for around 2 yrs and this is firt time this problem has started happening. Is there a fix to this or has the system just gone kaput?

    Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Could be running Hot....I had an old Toshiba that played great for about 45 minutes, then it would shut off. I added a small 10 inch fan blowing on the unit. It plays without issue as long as the fan is running....
