I was wondering if anyone is using the new box from Roku to stream movies from Netflex directly to your HDTV over the internet. I was thinking of buying this box and would like to know the pros and cons of this new equipment.

  2. The quality of the video is entirely dependent on your internet connection speed. I have a cable modem and get the best quality available. I would say it is roughly DVD quality. At my friends house, he only gets 2 out of 4 quality because of a slower DSL connection and it is VHS quality.

The inventory of movies is constantly increasing, as now STARZ movies are part of the inventory (http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5g-OMVuV9OhoIuIl5eGJEDfYGxpMA)

If you have an XBOX360 you should probably wait as Netflix and Microsoft are working together with an upcoming update that will allow Netflix streaming to the 360 (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/53594)

The Roku box won't be needed if you have an XBOX360 once the update is available.
