Hi all
Can you recommend a GUI for ffmpeg that would fulfill these criteria?
1. I don't have installation rights, so it needs to be a stand-alone app.
2. I want to be able to queue up the jobs and leave the conversion running while I get on with other stuff.
3. I want to convert to a -sameq mpeg, ready for editing in VirtualDub or WMM.
I thought that WinFF was ideal, but I don't think I can select MPG as the output (unless I choose a target format like VCD).
Many thanks in advance.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Nice! Thanks so much. Took a while to work out how to make a template so I could use job control, but it's just what I want - thanks.
t0nee1, thanks, but I don't want to change the video dimensions, and I think using the DVD target would do that. -
WinFF might be fine. I haven't tried it, since I had begun writing my own GUI before there were any good ones or I just havent found WinFF or AVANTI. So I created SmartFFmpeg which is worth trying as well since it might have features the others don't have. Like Preset-management, individual conversion settings per task/file, output-filename suggestion etc...

The page itself is in german but the tool is English.
