Problems with conversion FLV to .mov u others.

Hi, i`m writing `cause i hav some problems with conversions from FLV.
Although i have converted successfully a small archive .avi.flv to . mov, when i try to convert bigger archive (.divx.flv), it doesnt work, when i try to convert it to .mov, it says it`s done but it creates a zero kb archive, not readable by quicktime, of course.
And when i try to convert it to DVD appears this error Message:

""ERROR: Could not open movie: /Users/gilbertoorttiz/Desktop/Docs/Ascent of man/Ascent of Man Eight.flv
**ERROR: [yuvscaler] Could'nt read YUV4MPEG header!""

Ok, i have look trough the forum and found the answers, sorry for posting before searching.
