  1. I have MPC version 6.4.8.7

    I've installed latest FFDShow, Haali Splitter and CoreAVC.

    I can't remember what settings I had on my previous XP installation, but I recently installed new XP on new hard drive and can't get this to work in any way.

    I've put CoreAVC on prefer under Filters / Overrides, I've tried messing with FFDShow Mpeg and 264 encoder settings, I get audio, but I can't get picture.

    I have other HD files, but in avi format, that play well. But I would like to crack down why this TS file can't play now and I played it on previous installation...

  2. Get MPCHC. Enable its internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA splitter. Disable its internal h.264 decoder.

  3. Works, yes! Thanks. But - how can I set the file associations now? I can't get the mpchc on "Open With"

  4. you should be able to if you select open with and then choose program and click browse at the bottom. navigate to the mpchc .exe file and select.

  5. MPCHC: View -> Options -> Player -> Formats

    Upgrade to MPCHC or use VLC.

    If they fail then give more information about your ts, use mediainfo.

    Try SMPlayer. If it also fails I would guess the ts is corrupt.

  10. SMPlayer, and GOMPlayer file work.. sort of. sound and video sometimes (not allways) are out of sync, and that depends.. if i hit pauze go back it looks diffrent.. so there is no fault in file. also sometimes picture is "jumping" (i don't know how to describe that in english) stoping for second and the sound "shoots" in GOMplayer is better than on SMplayer.

    And your computer details? 1080p avc/h264 with high bitrate requires a bit.

    You could try "remux" it to a m2ts with tsmuxer and see if it makes any difference. Open the ts and output to a m2ts. Play the m2ts with all players.

    But the video could still be corrupt and then will probably nothing help.
