What program do you advice me to use for video editing? I don't need nothing professional, just something slightly better than Window Media Player.
    Thanks!

What format (Codec) do you want to edit? Do you want a freeware or payware editor? For simple edits of MPEG, I use VideoReDo or MPEG-VCR. For AVI type formats, I use VirtualDub (Mod).

If you are interested in transitions or more complex editing, you may want to look into more advanced video editors. But again, in what format?

Ulead (now Corel) VideoStudio is a pretty good entry level editor. A couple of rungs up from there is Sony Movie Studio and Premiere Elements, and after that are the big boys of the bunch.
