Ok, this is my dilemma..... I verify all my burns when burning MOST of my DVD's and then one day my internal burner (Optiarc AD-7170A) suddenly starts giving failed verifications (sector errors) on ONLY DL DVD9's after the burn process goes thru fine. And the DVD's get hung up in any player I try them on. I then added an external DL burner (LaCie d2 Firewire) and that worked for a several months and now even that burner gives me the same problem, burns OK, verifications failed, DVD useless. ALOT of what I burn is porn from USENET, ISO's & DVD Files. Is it possible I somehow got some type of DRM root kit (like Sony's) on my PC that affected maybe the Firmware for the burners or something else? DVD5's burn fine. The media that filed were MEMOREX & NX (Nexxtech), all the stores near me have. Thanks for any help.

I am so shocked to hear that porn downloads might not be DVD compliant! Tsk-tsk! Don't they have standards?
