Ok.. I'm in a dead end here. I have a .avi video that I can't play on my PS3. I tried everything I know and I could think of and found on the net, but no luck. I tried to re-encode it to Xvid and DivX using VirtualDub, re-encode the audio, changing the FourCC, used MPEG4Modifier to change the packed bitstream (as I heard it might affect the playing).
But when I cut a part (any part) from the video using VirtualDub it works on the PS3.. but the whole video doesn't work.
So, can anyone help me here. I'm beginning to think that my PS3 hates this video as all my other videos works fine.
    Thanks in advance.

PS3 has a limited AVI size support, I think less than 2GB

It doesn't support large AVIs, Open-DML

    You must split it

Try running it through these apps. Both tend to 'fix' a few things.

Thanks MysticE, it worked. I used the first app. But there is a noise in the first 9 sec, which according to the app. it's the audio delay.
Is there a way to remove it?

NVM, I'll just try to split the audio from the video and cut the noise and join them back together.
