What media are you using? What speed are you burning them?
Does the converted file play fine from PC,before burning???
Using IMGburn to burn or ner0?

Edit: guess Baldrick beat me to it...

If you want to add to your coaster collection or create another frisbee,by all means use the maxwell's....I've had better luck with Sony or memosux...

This is s great tool. However, I've run across a puzzling problem. When I downloaded this particular .mkv file, the Bitcomet program has a playback function that shows the subtitles for the video. However, when I tried a test burn DVD files to my PC and then to a disk, the menu shows the subtitles a "disabled". Oddly, I can get VLC Player to play it from the .mkv file, too. But when I try with my Nero program or play the DVD files from VLC, they don't show up, I can't get it to "Enable". If I play this on a standalone DVD player, will show the subs without choosing to, or am I missing something? When the files were unpacked, I found no .SRT file.

Am I going to have to download some sort of .mkv subtitle extractor, or am I missing a setting in DVD Flick?

Okay - I tried adding a new .srt to it, since it wasn't displaying the original that must be coded into .mkv. Now, for some reason, DVD flick won't burn the video files - only the menu files - not the actual video. I have noticed that when I try to burn it with the new subtitles, I get this message: "Warning: the subtitle has overlapping timestamps. DVD flaick will attempt to fix them, but the resulting DVD may end up truncated". Anyone?

Load the srt file in Subtitle Workshop.
Click Ctrl I and it will show the lines with the errors and optionally fix them.
