Hi, I have a few mkv files that are 1080p resolution. They do not work with HA using dxva.
I'm suing Media Player classic Homecinema.
Club 3D HD3850 AGP 512MB
P4.3 Ghz HT
3GB RAM
Win XP Pro SP3
-----------------------------------------------------------
I extracted the files using MKVextract but don't know how to recode them.
Tried to fix them using http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=972503 it does not work. So the only option is to recode them. I would like to get MP4 file that would work with DXVA.
Thank you.
File I need to FIX:

You reduced the resolution from 1920x800 => 720x576
You will lose quality anyways because you've lost 3.7x the number of pixels from the resize! Furthermore you are using a lossy codec => more quality loss
You are using constant quality mode with CRF=21. If you want to reduce quality loss, try again with a lower setting such as 16-18 if the settings allow you to adjust them -
OK , encoded it with extreme preset changing only AVC level to 4.1,
Audio settings are:
ABR
AAC-LC
Bitrate 640
Configure tab:

Converter SSRC
Keep original channels
