    Sorry to ask this.
    I use wmp 9.00.00.3354 and when i play a .wmv file and skip ahead too far I get either no sound or no picture and if I skip enough the player freezes, so I often use powerDVD which handles .wmv beautifully.

    But is there anything to fix wmp9?.. OR do I have to install wmp11 which I'm reluctant to install for some reason I forgot.. bloated slow start?
