I'm following the steps and tools outlined here:
    http://forum.videohelp.com/topic346331.html

But having strange problems; the *.bat isn't working for me.
I don't get 5 files (with the critical *.avs file I need), just 2 files are created: bits0001.mpa and bits0001.mpv

I've tried multiple versions of AVCHD_convert files (v5, v5 vimeo, etc.) and with multiple *.m2ts files, but still getting only the two *.mpa and *.mpv files.

    Any idea what's wrong?

    1) Do your files have a .MTS extension ? That's required for the batch file to work.

    2) Would you upload a short clip of your source file? You can use http://www.mediafire.com

Thanks for the offer to help, Soopafresh. I actually think I figured it out.
I tried a smaller clip (20 Mb), and it worked.

With larger files (200+mb), I don't think I was giving the computer time to do its thing. The DOS window opened and showed no activity, so after 30 sec or so, I would close the window. However, if I wait long enough, it continues thru the process and makes the 5 files.

I think I am good now. Thanks again for your offer to help.
