Hack for Samsung DVD-1080P8 for region 1 ???

I read through the list of hacks proposed on this web site for the DVD player Samsung DVD-1080P8 and tried them on mine but without any success.
Could anyone tell me if he was able to unlock this type of device in region 1 (Canada as far as I am concerned)?

Try a search on Google and also look to see if there are any Samsung DVD player forums that can help you. Unfortunately, sometimes manufacturers make hardware changes during production and it breaks hacks that used to work. This may have happened to you.

Thanks for your advise . I tried many searches on the internet but all come the same end: a hack which is also available videohelp, but which does not work for my region.
I'll keep searching
