I don't know what's going on but Media Player Classic isn't loading DirectVobSub. When I use Windows Media Player, DirectVobSub is loaded fine.
Haali Renderer is used as the DirectShow Video output and I even added DirectVobSub (auto-loading version) as an External Filter. In Haali Media Splitter Settings, Autoload VSFilter is set to Yes. I even set DirectVobSub to Always load.
Any ideas?

What renderers do you have set on Options > Playback > Output?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
DirectShow Video - Haali Renderer
RealMedia Video - System Default
QuickTime Video - System Default
VMR7/9 (renderless) & DirectX 7/9 settings - Use texture surfaces and render video in 2D
VMR9 mixer mode
DirectShow Audio - Default DirectSound Device
