I am trying to put a quad system together, either the AMD 9550 or 9950,. The two motherboard choices are:

    Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe
    MSI K9A2 Platinum (ms-7376)

I prefer an Asus board, but the price is higher then MSI board.

Can someone recommend one of these two boards or a more reasonably priced stable board. And what's the minimum power supply I should purchase ?
    Thanks

Thanks for reply. Yes, I've read the reviews. Just wondering what type of boards people are using for the Phenom processors. I talked to an AMD rep this morning that was very helpful, but unfamiliar with motherboards.

My main criteria when choosing a MB is to simply make a list of the options that I want and/or need on the board. That will typically reduce your number of choices. From there, it's a matter of price and/or brand preference while taking into account user reviews.
