Converting Video for the Zen (HowTo & Script)

I've posted this in the Creative forums as well, but after stumbling across these forums searching for something, I thought it might help some people here too.

I've put together a simple process of converting videos, and would appreciate any feedback people offer. This process does NOT require any Creative software to be installed. It uses freely available tools that don't require installing. MPlayer & Mencoder are used for the conversions, and are included in the download script.

When extracted, a folder will be with everything necessary.

Simply copy your video files (nearly any format) into that folder and double click the Convert.bat batch file. When finished, your converted video will be in the Output subfolder.

I've posted this in both Creative's own forums, as well as in the AnythingButIpod forums. A couple of users have experienced audio sync issues when converting .wmv's, and one experienced the video cutting off when converting an .flv file. I'd appreciate any feedback and/or assistance in getting these issues resolved. The sync issue in particular I'd like to track down, but the only video I've seen it on was very poor quality and low resolution to begin with. If you have one that has the audio sync issue, and it's decent quality, please point me to it so I can work on getting this fixed if at all possible.

Probably because of variable sample-rate Windows Media Audio
( apparently a consequence of 2-pass CBR compression ---
