    I am trying to figure out how to compile libmatroska and libebml source code. I tried importing the DLLs that came with MKVToolnix into Visual Studio.Net 2003 and 2005 and I get an error saying it isnt a real COM file etc etc.

    I was thinking maybe it was modified, so I found the website below:
    http://dl.matroska.org/downloads/libmatroska/

    It says you can compile it in Windows, but I have no clue how to do it. I just want to get a DLL.

    Also, if anybody knows of other libraries where you can read the contents of an MKV file programmically, please let me know.
