I recently bought the new Canon VIXIA HF100. It comes with the software called: ImageMixer 3SE (which has AVCHD/.mts file player) and editing software. On my computer playing back these files are really choppy/jerky. I have SDHC 6 class SD card. I have NO issue playing back on the video camera, its smooth as butter. I downloaded the latest software that I mentioned, still jerky.. I have fairly fast computer, and I have no issues playing back other formats (MY PC is AMD Athlon 64, Radeon X800Pro 256MB / have latest drivers, 2GB memory, 350GB HD, Win XP pro SP3). Can someone guide me how to troubleshot this issue? I could not find any new CODEC for the AVCHD, do you think that is the issue? Are these codecs universal, one better then another? I called Technical support, and they were really helpful....
