    Hai All,
    444 sample consist one Y One U and One V for each pixel .To Reduce the size 444 change to 422 then 420....How to achieve this with out loss of clarity.Any mathematical transformation is applicable.can someone plz say the methods for this........

    Most programs appear to simply average pairs of U and V together to produce 4:2:2. Or 4 (2x2) together to produce 4:2:0.
