    I just wanted to mention that this is a sticky that maybe should be updated

    "When will Dual Layer DVDr disk be available?
    Commercial Dual layer disk area manufactured then press together inside plastic, therefore its unlikely that we will ever see a Dual layer DVDR. You never know, but don't hold your breath."

    Edited a few minutes later. I think i should have posted this in feedback category. I have made a general suggestion post there for any stickies that may be a few years old and may need updating.
