What programs would I need or guides, to convert a PAL dvd to NTSC one?

I see here that there are many guides, but which one would give me the highest quality at the ned of encoding/trasncoding?

If you wanted to convert the whole DVD, including menus, etc., it's a fairly complex, time consuming task.

If you just want to do the main movie, then add you own menus, a lot simpler. Some guides: https://www.videohelp.com/guides/category/how-to-convert-pal-to-ntsc-or-ntsc-to-pal-fra...ions-4;41#4;41

Using DGPulldown is one of the easier methods.

The best and easiest method is just to buy a player that is compatible with either format and don't try to convert.

  3. FAVC is good, While it can make very simple menus for you, they won't be the originals converted to NTSC. Doing that is pretty difficult.

Or, if you like beating your head against a wall, try this:

Well it's a dvd of a concert, so it's just the main movie to really convert to NTSC specifications. Then menu isn't anything special really, so I guess I can just make it back. How do I convert the VOB files to NTSC VOB files then?
Use the same programs you recommended?

Not the best quality but try with DVDFlick....
I prefer the DGPulldown method that was posted...
But yeah much easier to just buy a player that supports both formats.....

thanks,I'll try the ConvertX2DVD, but when I click add, do I add the .IFO file alone or do I add all the files?
If I add all the files I get an message saying that it recommends I add the IFO file.

and also, if I add the .IFO file alone,it says that the total size on the disc would be 1.97GB when, the PAL dvd is 4.60GB.
