DVD video won't work with MP3 audio. Your AC3 should have worked, unless your AC3 is out of specification. How did you create the AC3 audio? What program or method? You could try MPEG-1 Layer2 audio or WAV or PCM audio, but the audio file will be huge with a WAV file.

    DVD audio specifications:
    Audio:
    48000 Hz
    32 - 1536 kbps
Up to 8 audio tracks containing DD (Dolby Digital/AC3), DTS, PCM(uncompressed audio), MPEG-1 Layer2. One audio track must have DD or PCM Audio.
This is from 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left on this page.

  5. The answer at this point is real simple. You need to make it sound better.

Now, did you find that annoying? How about enlightening us as to -

    What You Started With?
    What You Have Now?
    How You Got There?

Or, if you'd just rather have a wild guess with no information whatsoever to go on, then try rubbing the disk counterclockwise on an albino monkey's butt.
