greetings, i have 2 dvd recorders and would like to have them both operational for tv recordings but not sure about the best antenae connect configuration, like do i need a splitter and would that affect quality?
unit1= philips dvdr3505
unit2= philips dvdr3575h
any help would be appreciated! (hope this is in correct forum) :)

I have some 3575's and they have an amplified coax passthru, as described here.
Each of your DVDRs has coax passthru so they can both be on the same coax and still have independent tuners.
I'd put the 3575 1st on the coax (cuz its passthru is amplified), then the 3505, then on to the TV with coax to ANT In.
Then, line connections from each DVDR to different TV inputs, and enjoy your two independent units, able to record their own channels (after channel scan of course) while watching something else thru your TV's tuner!
thx a bunch W! that sounds like a very un-complicated configuration (which is the way i like best)!
