I'm trying to backup my daughter's Enchanted DVD, and editing out the unnecessary bits like the ads and buttons on the main menu. PGCEdit shows blank dialog boxes when previewing a cell. Why is it doing that?

How did you rip it? Did you use LATEST dvdfab decrypter? And maybe also run fixvts before using pgcedit.

Used DVDFab 5.0.1.2 Beta. Tried opening one of my old rips and it does the same thing whereas when I ripped the old rip I used an earlier version of PGCEdit which worked.

Note, when I click the BMP button on the preview dialog, I can suddenly see the video image in the preview screen. When I close the SaveAs dialog, the preview screen goes blank again.

OK, I fixed it. Got this from the PGCEdit home page:
    # On some fast machines, the preview might be too fast, or even crash. Workaround: Enable the option "Preview -> Real time playback?". It it's still not sufficient, disable also the DirectDraw overlays, in the same menu.
Disabling DirectDraw fixed it. Anyone know why or what this option does?

    I'm using DirectX V9.0c.
