[Ubuntu 8.04] Problem with Devede

When i using Devede to make my dvd it's ok if i choose a english subtitle but when i choose Vietnamese or Chinese subtitle it was error and show the table:

It seems to be bug of SPUMUX

What should i do in this situation ?

Any help will be greatly appreciate !

Haven't tried that program BUT I have a suspicion as to the problem anyway. Since the English worked that is. The English might be ASCII and the other languages you tried are more likely Unicode. Don't know what to do about it though.

I had that issue too, and other issues since switching to version 8.04, I guess the smart thing would be to go back to 7.10, I never had any problems with that. And a FYI if you try to run a virtual machin on 8.04 you'll have a very hard time being everything in the install channel crashes and doesn't run at all at times.

Are there any software supported GUI for making DVD video in Linux can add Vietnamese or Chinese subtitle ?
