    Hi all,

first post here. just wondering if anyone has any tips on what to do when i encounter bad audio while converting from mkv to mp4?

MeGUI is the only program that doesnt crash and it just encodes a dummy file of about 4mb (original is a 300mb ac3 file).

ive tried several ac3 fix programs (which convert it to a raw wav format) but then the audio is horribly unsynced with the video. vlc transcode outputs a dummy file.

my question is: is there anything else i can try or am i stuck with a file i can't convert?

You can't put AC3 into an MP4 container. You have to convert it to AAC.
