megui problem

hi
i am trying to encode bluray and hddvds to 720p mkv's
i am using the autoencode to a size of 4.4gb but my finished muxed file is turning out at 400mb,500mb i have tried it a few times with the same outcome none of them are the output sie i select???i have also uninstalled and reinstalled but no effect i still dont get the same output size
i would be greatfulk for help
