I am trying to record from my tv which is attached to cable but when i am recording i periodically hear a glitch in the audio. It sounds like a fizz almost like it is distorting due to volume levels, but the audio going into the recorder is from a line out on the cable box and the audio glitch happens randomly but in close intervals. I have tried different audio sources but experience the same thing..

    Please help...
    Thanks

There isn't likely much that you can do. The only thing you can try is replacing the audio cable. If you always hear the noise, even when watching TV, then the problem is likely to be the cable box. If the noise is only present in your recordings, then the problem is likely your recorder. If it's under warranty, have it serviced, otherwise, it is likely cheaper to replace it.
