  1. I have been watching CNN Live for some time now: http://www.cnn.com/video/live/live.html?stream=stream

I believe it is a WMV stream but there is no URL link for me to confirm. Is there an easy way i can record live streams from CNN Live. I use WIndows XP.

WM Recorder ? Or maybe something like Net Transport ?
There are a number of programs in this general category, such as Replay Screencast. None are free, I think, if that matters. I haven't used any of them yet myself, but this may give you some leads to check out.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

  3. Orbit downloader worked for the ones I've tried. Start it's Grab++ utility to get the FLV filename, right click on it, and select Download.

  4. There is no easier way now than the new version of Real Player. When any video starts to play, place your cursor over the vid and a drop down window will appear to give you the option of downloading.

    It is 100% FREE.

    Here is your video.

I used to record the live streams with Real Player and it worked until they started putting commercials before their videos. Now, RealPlayer records the commercial, but doesn't record the live stream. How can I, with Real Player or another program for mac or for pc, easily record the live streams?
