Encoding HD DVD into MKV Files

Hello.

I finally bought a Toshiba HD DVD Ram drive, only 28 dollars. I also bought a DVICO 6500 Media player with a 1TB Hard Disk.

I want to encode my HD DVD collection into mkv files and place them in the Hard Drive of my Media Player for easy selection and view in my HDTV and also as a backup.

I kindly ask for help regarding instructions and software needed to Encode HD DVD into MKV files.

Install anydvd and then

Remux .evo with eac3to to .mkv. Once you have mkv rencode it in ripbot264. Simple isn't it?
