Can anyone help me with the regional code on the portable DVD player Sony DVP-FX820?

There may not be one. Despite what people like you seem to think, all players CANNOT be hacked. Some can. Some can't. Even among the players that can be hacked, the manufacturer will sometimes change the hardware during production and a hack that used to work will not work.

If you looked on our "DVD Players" list to the left and did not find a hack for your player and a Google search also did not have one, then you are out of luck.

Sony players are typically region free or not, very few can be hacked. On top of that, most specialty players (which includes portable players) CANNOT be hacked.

If you need region free, you will need a new player.
