    I am looking for a good portable dvd for playing mpeg avi & divx files that can do ac3 sound & has atleast 3.5 hr battery life for $150 for less which porable dvd do you recommond.

    Get a Philips 7 inch portable dvd player from Wally Worlds.

    It's PAL/NTSC and can be made region free as well. It can playback divx files as well.

    Here's one that has 4 hour battery life but it's more than $150.00
