Hello,
I was given a 1440x1080 footage that i have to work on ... and then export an SD DVD in pal 16:9
What do you recommend i work with in terms of sequence format in FCP?
If i use the 1440x1080 sequence format, what's the best export method to get a CLEAN SD PAL 16:9 video.
I made a test now, with this last option (HD 1440x1080 sequence) and exported it with compressor in DVD 90 minutes best - PAL 16:9 but the quality is not very good (blurry), what have i done wrong?
Thanks for any help,
regards,
kat

ok, i think i answered my own question:
in
FCP-> use sequence in original footage format
FCP-> Export Quicktime movie in original format
COMPRESSOR-> use the .mov produced by FCP and the DVD 90 minutes best preset
COMPRESSOR-> use the Dolby digital for the sound
DVD Studio pro-> use the .m2v and .ac3 files for the project and export an .img file
TOAST-> burn the img to DVD with video_TS preset
That how i could have the best quality ....
any best way? fastest way?
regards
