    - sorry for my english -

i've a MacBook Pro 2,6 GHz with Leopard 10.5.2 and 2 GB RAM (only 1, cause i must change the other one).
ffmpegx is in his last version (0.0.9y)
I export from avi (with divx.com codec) or MPEG to MP4 x264 608x448, 525 kbps, 25 fps, with this options:
    -CABAC
    -Costant bitrate
    -2 pass
    -4x4 analisys
    -Trellis
    -AVC 5.1
    - SM complete

The first video that i encode the progress bar reach only 50-80% (of second encode), and this make a video not completly encoded (at 50-60% video is white).
Last days the second, and other encode was good, but today no one reach 100% and make me a totally-playable files.

    Thank you so much!

    Luca.

    I hosting too my exporting-preset

Constant bitrate and 2-pass encoding seems like strange combination, as I can only see a benefit for 2-pass and variable bitrate encoding.

Your specs (608x448, 525 kbps, 25 fps) would match AVC Level 3.0, so why create possible incompatibility by going with level 5.1?

No idea what "SM complete" is. Maybe ME function 'Exhaustive'?

You might try Decoding with QuickTime to see if it makes a difference.
