    Upon my recent thread here
    http://forum.videohelp.com/topic348913.html

NOTE: AFTER APPLYING THIS FIRMWARE, YOU WILL LOSE HDMI CONNECTIVITY. This is because the USB 23 Character filename is from the 5960 ARM core, which doesn't have a HDMI port. I repeat, you will lose HDMI connectivity and I haven't tested if you could revert the flash.

Expert firmware modder, Tech25, patched the 5982 firmware to have 23 Characters in the USB Browser and GOTO function for USB. I was the guinea pig for you all, so I hope you enjoy it. In a sum, this is what he added.

    1. 23 Characters in USB Browser (The max limit of characters this player can support in USB mode is 23)
    2. GOTO function by pressing TITLE button twice.

If you don't use HDMI then this firmware is for you. Component works perfect.
