How Do I Split screen Half Rolling Credits-Half Video in Vegas

Hi,
8) I have Vegas Pro 8 & DVD Architect. I would like to make a split screen with one half being rolling text and the other showing a video clip. The following is an example of what I want to do;
On the left side of the screen I would like to show a persons name rolling from the top to the bottom slowly and at the same time a short video clip on the right side of that person. Once the text is rolled off the screen I would like to repeat the same process with a different name and video clip of that person.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Put the video of the person on one on one timeline, put the credits (using a text generator) on another timeline, then use Track Motion and/or Event Pan and Crop to position the two timelines side by side on the screen. The help file covers the details.
