What version ? Sonic Foundry haven't owned Vegas in a long time.

    Regardless, you have two choices

    1. Split the clip (S key) into chunks and apply the effects to the chunks. The splits will not affect playback and will be seamless during encoding

    2. Use the key frames on each effect. This is my preferred method as it is more subtle and allows for far greater control, as well as leaving open the ability to mix effects if necessary

Chunks = Parts of video, or to divide video into required separate scene's in which to apply effect's to.

Very simply, and yes, I do use vegas often

Again I ask : what version are you using ? Sonic Foundry have not owned Vegas for several years. The versions under the Sonic banner were pre DVD and did not have DVD burning capabilities. Do you have an old Sonic version, or a newer, Sony version. Is it Vegas Movie Studio or Vegas Pro ? Help us help you by provinding real information.
