5982 doesnt recognize correct SRT file

Hi All,

I have 8 AVI and 8 SRT files( names are long and exact same as AVI file except extension SRT) in a folder on a 500 GB HDD.
The player does recognize and shows the contents ( AVI files only ) ..when I select to play a AVI file..somehow the player unable to pick the right SRT file ...it choose to play SRT file which is un -related to the AVI ( say 5th SRT file) ..

Now how to fix this ?

Name your files differently. Include episode numbers at the start of the filenames.

Rather than:

My favorite show Episode 01 name.avi
My favorite show Episode 01 name.srt
My favorite show Episode 02 name.avi
My favorite show Episode 02 name.srt

Use:

01 My favorite show Episode name.avi
01 My favorite show Episode name.srt
02 My favorite show Episode name.avi
02 My favorite show Episode name.srt

That way, the munged 8 character filesnames will match properly.
