I ripped a double layer disc to my hard drive, and the only blank media i have is single layer discs. Is there any software that will let me shrink and burn the ripped folder to DVD at the same time the way NERO does on Windows? I have Toast, but it doesnt let me shrink them. thanks in advance

You say you have Toast. If it is version 7, 8 or 9 they all have the fit-to-DVD compression to burn a dual-layer-sized VIDEO_TS folder to a single layer disc. So you may be able to do it with what you have.

    Use MacTheRipper 3.0R14M to rip.

DVD2oneX 2.1.4 to run the ripped Video_TS files through (Full Disc or Movie Only) to fix mastering errors and to compress if you are using SL dics.

I like the compression of DVD2oneX better then Toast but then again I just do movie only with DVD2oneX anymore.

You can burn with DVD2oneX 2.1.4 also or use Toast to burn with.

As you might gather, it is useful to give the names and version
numbers of the apps in these postings.

It'll help with diagnosis of your problems.
