how do i rip a DVD and put it im ipod? i ripped a DVD and got .VOB files that split the movie into 3 clips. when i click on the accompanying DVD info (.IFO file) it of course plays the video. but when i try to convert it using videora, i would have to convert it individually thus getting 3 separate videos. i thought dvd shrink could merge it into 1 but it still did not. please help. thanks.

VOBs are normally about 1GB in size. That's how the video is split in a DVD. You can use a program like VOB2MPG to extract the video from a DVD to one large MPG-2 file. You may need to use a newer ripper for newer DVDs. DVDFab HD Decrypter can rip them to your hard drive, then you can process them to a single MPEG-2 file with VOB2MPG. If you want more info on the DVD format, look to 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left on this page.

    And welcome to our forums.
