    Im editing a wedding video with adobe premier 6
    fantastic program to use very flexible

    and i have some audio tracks that i need to use that have wind noise on them

    I can cut some out but most has speech or some other audio that i need on it

    does any one know a way of filtering out these wind noises ( not that kind of wind?)

    I've found the noise filter in Audacity very good for this kind of thing.
    Get the latest 1.3 beta version.

    You will have to demux the sound, convert to wave and after cleaning in Audacity convert back to whatever format (MP3-- Audacity can handle that, AC3 use Aften, ffmpeg) and remux with the video.

    If you use aggressive setting you can get weird effects, so play with the parameters and test brief passages, (just click "undo" after) before committing to a setting.
