Technics SC-DV250

Hi everyone. I have a Technics SC-DV250 which I would like to split into two units one above the other on separate shelves. My problem is that the ribbon cable that connects three of the separates together isn't long enough. As you can imagine it has to go through a hole in the back of the entertainment unit, down the back and back in through another hole on the lower shelf. So does anyone know if a longer ribbon cable is available and what the cable is called or referred to officially so I can do a search!

Try contacting the manufactur, or you can visit an electronics store, such as Radio shack. I'm sure they can assist you, in locating a longer cable.
