Add Text to DVD & CD To Display On Player

I had NO clue where to post this. So to be safe, I posted here in the noob section.

OK, let me be clear about what exactly it is I'm after. I'm talking about adding text information to a disc that displays on the display of your stand alone DVD player. You know how when you hit the time/display button on your DVD's remote it cycles through the different time readings and then (usually on store bought discs) shows you the title of the disc in the machine? That's what I need to know how to do for both DVD & CD.

I've done Google searches, but all I keep coming up with are subtitle results or how to add text to your DVD menu during production. I honestly thought this was something very elementary. Unless of course I'm missing something which is most likely the case, hence my question here. Thank you in advance!
